Howdy! As you may have read on the homepage, my name is Alisha Miller. I am a new teacher to Ann Richards Middle School and Dallas ISD. This will however, be my 5th year of teaching (all of which have been in middle school Social Studies.)
I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This degree, as well as certification exams, qualifies me to teach English, Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies in the state of Texas. I am a proud Aggie, and it is evident in my classroom. One motto Texas A&M has that all Aggies are held accountable to is, "An Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal, or tolerate those who do," I follow this motto in my classroom, and hold my students accountable of this, as well.
